About Us
Caring for your pets
Henry County Humane Society is a 501 c 3 non profit charity organization licensed by the Georgia State Department of Agriculture. We work closely with our local animal control facility to help reduce their numbers and find suitable homes for pets who have found themselves impounded and unwanted. We survive on donations, we receive no county, state, or government funding. Your help saves lives! Potential adopters must complete an application including vet references. Fenced yards are required for large dogs and some smaller active breeds. ADOPTIONS ARE LIMITED TO THE METRO ATLANTA AREA. If you see an animal that you are interested in, please complete the Adoption Application. This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the animal.If your application is approved, one of our volunteers will contact you via phone or email.
